Anil Mishra takes charge as GM of South Eastern Railway

Jamshedpur, July 2: Anil Kumar Mishra assumed the role of General Manager of the South Eastern Railway. Prior to this appointment, Mishra served as the Additional General Manager of the North Eastern Railway in Gorakhpur. He is an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) of the 1987 batch and joined the Indian Railways in 1989.

Throughout his career, Mishra has held various important positions, including Principal Chief Signal Telecommunication Engineer at N.E. Railway, Divisional Railway Manager at Dhanbad, East Central Railway, Director (Telecom) at RDSO, Lucknow, Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer (Project) at West Central Railway, and Chief Signal Engineer at North Central Railway. Sri Mishra holds a degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and completed his M.Tech. from IIT Delhi before joining the Indian Railways. He has undergone training abroad, including on Mass Transit Railway (MTR) in Hong Kong and on High-Speed Railway in Japan. He has also visited China, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Norway for the inspection of the Mobile Train Radio Communication System. In addition, he received training in SDA at Bocconi Business School in Milan, Italy.
