Amrit Yogasana Championship in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, September 15: In memory of Amrit, a young local who tragically lost his life in a road accident last year, Healyoga and Evesham Yoga Academy hosted the Open Amrit Yogasana Championship in memory of Amrit, a local youth who lost his life in a road accident in 2003. The championship was organized at Kashidih Community Centre hall on his death anniversary. International Yoga Guru Anshu Sarkar was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

Around 350 children from various city schools participated in the competition, which was divided into two groups. In the Junior Group, Anshu Sharma won the title of Yoga Kumar and Anvesha Panja was named Yoga Kumari. In the Senior Group, Abhishek Dey secured the Yoga Lalit title, while Abeera Kumari earned the title of Yoga Ramya. Late Amrit’s father, Arjun Prasad, along with his brothers Abhimanyu and Ravishankar Kumar, and friend Munna Sharma, were present on the occasion.
