Dhanbad: In the aftermath of the gangster Aman Singh’s murder at Dhanbad Mandal Jail, the police investigation is progressing diligently.
Case Investigating Officer (IO) Vinay Kumar, accompanied by his team, arrived at the incident site on Friday to assess and measure the area. The entire location was meticulously measured using a tape measure to gather crucial details.
The investigation focused on understanding the sequence of events leading to Aman Singh’s murder. IO Vinay Kumar examined the distance from which Ritesh Yadav, also known as Sundar Yadav, allegedly fired the fatal shot. The positioning of the victim, the whereabouts of Ritesh at that moment, and the trajectory of the gunshot were scrutinized from all angles. The comprehensive measurements aimed to piece together a detailed understanding of the incident.
Photographs were taken to document the entire crime scene, capturing essential details for the ongoing investigation. Following the site inspection, IO Vinay Kumar revisited the CCTV footage, carefully analyzing the activities of the inmates visible in the recordings. This multi-pronged approach aims to uncover the circumstances surrounding the murder and identify any potential collaborators or witnesses.
