Jamshedpur, August 11: Social organization �Amal Sangha� on Tuesday at a ceremony paid tributes to the freedom fighter Khudiram Bose.
Commemorating 108th martyr day of Shaheed Bose, they offered flowers and garlanded the idol placed at the Mango roundabout.
The event was led by the group�s vice-president Ranjan Bannerjee. Secretary Sandip Sinha Chowdhary addressing the members said,�To offer tribute in true sense we must follow the footsteps of the freedom fighter and inculcate a sense of patriotism & brotherhood for all around us.�
He also added that the martyr Bose died for the nation at the age of 18 and at the time of his execution he was smiling. He mentioned many facts that led to India�s freedom. After the end of his speech members chanted the lines �Khudiram Bose amar rahe!�
The Programme was also attended by Debashis Lahiri, Subol Mandal, Alok Dutta, Manoranjan Sarkar, Mrinmay Sur, Hemant Das, Manas Sarkar, Debobroto Chakravorty, Deepanjan Dey, Gaurav Bannerjee, Shatrughan Mukhi, Dibendu Bhowmik, Santosh Chatterjee, Ranbir Dey, Santosh Patra, Jayant Dey and Nepal Ch. Das.
