Altercation leads to injury in ISWP Company Jamshedpur, employee suspended

Jamshedpur, Mar 14: A disturbance erupted during the night shift at Indian Steel Wire Products (ISWP) situated in the Telco police station area of Jamshedpur, resulting in an employee sustaining a head injury. The injured employee received medical treatment, and another employee involved in the altercation has been suspended pending investigation.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night around 11:30 PM during the night shift duty at the rod mill of the wire company. An altercation ensued between employees Sonu Sharma and Ramsagar Tiwari, escalating into a physical altercation, which led to Tiwari sustaining a head injury.

Upon learning of the incident, authorities from Telco police station intervened, although no formal complaint has been filed. The company has treated the matter as an internal issue and initiated disciplinary action by suspending Sonu Sharma.

Investigations into the incident are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the altercation and to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future
