Jamshedpur, April 4:  Following a confrontation between two groups vying for dominance in the scrap business near Lal Building in Bagbera, Bablu Jha, one of the injured in the altercation, had reportedly gone missing.

Chandni Jha, Bablu Jha’s wife, visited the SSP office on Thursday to lodge a formal complaint, alleging that her husband had been kidnapped. According to Chandni, Bablu received a call from Ajay Singh on March 31, after which he failed to return home. Bablu Jha’s wife stated that the situation escalated due to a recent dispute arising from her husband’s decision to establish his own scrap yard in Harharguttu, leading to conflicts with Ajay Singh, Arvind Singh alias Chhotu Singh, and Deepak, with whom Bablu previously collaborated at Ajay Singh’s scrap yard.

Chandni recounted that her husband was summoned on March 31 and subjected to assault, after which he disappeared. Following the incident, Chhotu Singh, Ajay’s brother, visited their residence accompanied by several persons and issued threats against the family.

Expressing grave concerns, Chandni asserted her belief that her husband had been abducted by the involved parties. Authorities have been urged to intervene and investigate the matter.
