Ranchi: Startling revelations have emerged regarding a conspiracy involving a Ranchi Police officer and money laundering accused individuals, Prem Prakash and Amit Aggarwal, just prior to an ED raid. According to reliable sources, these individuals sought assistance from a senior police officer within the Ranchi Police force to plot against officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). ED investigators have obtained an audio clip related to this conversation, which may soon expose the extent of this conspiracy.
In response to these concerning developments, the ED has taken the matter very seriously and is actively pursuing its investigation. The agency is also reviewing the CCTV footage installed in Birsa Munda Central Jail, Hotwar, Ranchi, to identify the Ranchi Police officer who met with Prem Prakash and Amit Aggarwal.
The conspiracy is believed to be aimed at falsely implicating officials from the ED, a central agency currently investigating cases of money laundering worth crores of rupees in Jharkhand, including allegations related to land scams, illegal sand trading, alleged irregularities in liquor tenders, and illegal mining. Notably, this conspiracy took root after the Dhurva police station accused an ED officer in a case involving Scheduled Tribes-Scheduled Castes (ST-SC). Subsequently, a fresh scheme was hatched within the jail to level more serious charges against the ED officer.
Sources suggest that several key pieces of evidence and information have been collected by the ED in connection to this case. It has come to light that individuals such as Prem Prakash, Amit Aggarwal, and other inmates involved in illegal mining and land scams played significant roles in orchestrating this alleged conspiracy. There are also indications that the accused individuals within the jail received assistance from both jail administration and external sources. The ED has reported this entire episode to the Central Government, underlining the seriousness of the situation.
