Jamshedpur, Nov 15: The All Jharkhand Telegu Samajam celebrated the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Kadma today. Floral tributes were offered to his portrait in honor of his legacy.
Samajam President Y Ishwar Rao highlighted the life of Birsa Munda, who was born on November 15, 1875, into a poor farming family.
“Birsa did not die, but became immortal,” said Rao, emphasizing that his name will always be synonymous with tribal resistance. Several members, including Yam B Subramanyam, Chandrashekhar Rao, L Nageshwar Rao, and others, were present at the event.
