Jamshedpur, Dec 16: The East Singhbhum wing of All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan (AIMSS) in a written letter of demand addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of the district demanded complete ban on liquor sale, pornographic movies, literature and web sites and ensuring security to female children, students and women from the growing trend of crime against women.

AIMSS district secretary Chandana Banerjee stated that a healthy society was needed for a prosperous and happy society.  But today and everyday, somewhere at some place some woman, some student, some girl child or some mother is being raped and murdered. Our Jamshedpur too is not untouched in this respect as is our East Singhbhum district. Going by hews reports of the past few months, one can gauge the growing crime graph against women. Women no longer feel safe within or outside their homes. That is why AIMSS has requested the DC to ensure safety to women from sexual crimes being unleashed against them.
