Saryu Rai orders deputation of divers at every ghat

Jamshedpur, Oct 30: Minister and legislator Saryu Roy conducted inspection at several Chhat river banks and found the preparations to his satisfaction. The ghats he inspected today included Bailey Bodhanwala Ghat, the ghats in Shastrinagar block # 3, 4 and 5, Ramjanamnagar Road 3 1 and 10, Sati Ghat, DVC Station Ghat, Ramnagar had Godam Ghat, Shyamnagar Ghat, Green Park Ghat, Rivers Meet Ghat, Bachcha Singh Ghat, Balughat, Swarnvihar Ghat and others. The minister also instructed JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar to ensure cleaning and repair of a few ghats post haste. He also instructed deployment of divers in every ghat to ensure safety of devotees. Saryu Roy ordered that change rooms be set up for the devotees as also adequate light arrangements at all ghats. Those who accompanied minister and legislator Saryu Roy during the inspection were JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, legislative representative Chittaranjan Verma, Mukul Mishra, Dipu Singh, Chunnu Bhumij, Pappu Singh Suryavanshi, Manish Pandey, Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Nikhar Sablok and others.
