Jamshedpur, Dec. 7: A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his house near Old CP Club under Sonari police station on Sunday.
Police informed that Santosh was an alcoholic and when he arrived in the house at Saturday night he was in a drunken state.
The victim�s family member said, Santosh came into the house inebriated and soon entered his room to sleep.
When the door of his room was opened on Sunday morning, Santosh was found hanging by a wire from the ceiling.
Soon the family members informed the Sonari police about the incident.
Subsequently, police arrived at the spot took the body under their possession and sent it for postmortem at MGM Hospital.
Police have started an investigating into the matter.
