Jamshedpur, December 20: Kavyapta Global School successfully organised its Annual Sports Day on December 19 and 20, 2025, at the school’s multipurpose ground, celebrating sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. The two-day event saw enthusiastic participation from students of all grades, turning the campus into a lively arena of athletic spirit and competitive energy.
The Sports Day began with an impressive march past by the four school houses—Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, and Christopher Columbus—led by School President Ranveera Pratap Singh and Vice President Anupama Mahato. The event was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Shiv Shankar Singh, President of Kreeda Bharti Jamshedpur Mahanagar, while Somnath Sarkhel, Director of several educational institutions, attended as Guest of Honour. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest highlighted the joint role of teachers and parents in shaping a child’s future, while Principal Director Kabita Agrawal encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity.
The second day was graced by Dr. Shukla Mohanty, Academic Advisor to the Governor of Odisha, and Jay Prakash Singh, International Coach and Secretary of the Jharkhand Basketball Academy. Students actively participated in various track and field events, drills, fun races, and team games, with parent events adding to the excitement.
Academic excellence was also recognised with the KVGS Gaurav Award presented to Shivansh Priyadarshi, Naveika Jaiswal, Aizah Shabbir, and Aliza Shabbir across different grade categories. Albert Einstein House was declared the Overall House Winner. In team events, Grade XII won the Football title, while the Senior Basketball Team emerged champions. The event concluded successfully with support from school management, teachers, parents, and students.
