Reshuffle at VP level in Tata Steel

Jamshedpur, November 28: Changes have been made at the vice president level in Tata Steel.

Apart from this, many other transfers and promotions have been made. The biggest change is taking place in the post of vice president of TQM and engineering and projects of Tata Steel.

Under this, the current vice president Avneesh Gupta is going to retire from 1 February 2024. He is about to retire after serving for about 37 years. In his place, Akshay Khullar, GM Projects and Construction, Tata Steel Kalinganagar, has been promoted to IL 2 and has been made vice president engineering and projects. He will hold this post from December 1.

Akshay Khullar joined Tata Steel as GT since 1992, since then he has held many positions. At the same time, in his place, chief project and construction NINL Harvinder Singh Deepak has been made GM Project and Construction Tata Steel Kalinganagar on December 1.

The responsibility of TQM has been given to Peeyush Gupta, who is currently the vice president GSP and supply chain. He will be the vice president TQM GSP and supply chain from February 1.

This change has been made at the level of Tata Steel MD TV Narendran. On the other hand, two promotions have been given in Tata Steel’s environment management, safety health and sustainability from December 1.

On the basis of interview, IL 4 level senior area manager Omkar Avinash Shinde has been promoted to IL 3 and made head of environment management. Meanwhile, area manager environment monitoring and analysis Tata Steel Meramandali Sanjib Kumar Pal has been made head environment Tata Steel Meramandali.

He has been promoted from IL 4 to IL 3. All these changes have been made by Rajeev Mangal, vice-president safety, health and sustainability of Tata Steel.
