Akash Khurana to inaugurate XLRI fest Ensemble Valhalla today

‘The Local Train’, Nikhil D Souza among artists to perform

Jamshedpur, Oct. 31: XLRI�s annual cultural, sports, and management festival Ensemble-Valhalla is all set to start from November 1.The annual festival will have a plethora of events to cater to each and every student�s interests. Spanning over three days, EV 2019 will see the presence of pure talent.

The theme of the fest this year is �Break Free� which will celebrate innovation and encourage  people to break free from the shackles which might be holding them back from bringing the innovator  in them to the fore.

The fest will be inaugurated by seasoned theatre and film personality Akash Khurana on November 1. Dr. Akash Khurana is an XLRI alumnus who has acted in over 50 films.

Talented duo of Karunesh Talwar and Aakash Gupta, will be performing for its comedy night on 1st November at Tata Auditorium.

Known for their incredible wit and a great sense of humour, both Karunesh Talwar and Aakash
Gupta have gained nationwide popularity with their quips which have resonated well with the youth.

One of the main highlights of the fest is the Idea Summit scheduled on November 2, where film and television stalwarts including Shishir Sharma, Akash Khurana, Virali Modi, Arijit Biswas and Varun Mahana will come forth and share their experiences with the students.

Day 2 of the fest will see a performance by one of India’s most popular bands, The Local Train on November 2 at Tata Auditorium.

Famous rapper Vivian Fernandes, better known by his stage name Divine will be performing for its final pro-show night along with Nikhil D Souza – the voice behind Sham Hai Koi on November 3 at Football Ground, XLRI.

EV 2019 will see participation from students across the eastern belt of India. The tension is palpable in the air, as Valhalla, the sports fest, will unleash some of the best sports events, including football, tennis and cricket. EV 2019 will also be an avenue for a host of literary, cultural and business events, which will give students an opportunity to unleash their potential leader. XLRI will play host to many citizens of Jamshedpur during EV as they participate in the events along with students.

Overall prize money of Rs 15.5 lakhs is up for grabs.

Ensemble-Valhalla is the annual cultural, sports, and management fest of XLRI. The fest will take place on the 1st-3rd November. XLRI�s flagship fest Ensemble-Valhalla has witnessed participation from various B-schools across the country and performances by renowned artists like Amit Trivedi, Lucky Ali, Nikhil D�Souza, The Local Train, Vipul Goyal, Sorabh Pant, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and Zakir Khan. The multifaceted fest is expected to be a grand celebration of spirit and character encompassing the values and integrity of India�s oldest business management school.
