Jamshedpur, Dec 21: Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia, organized its Annual Sports Competition on December 21, with great enthusiasm.
A variety of events were held, including the 100-meter race and 400-meter relay for senior students, and fun activities like balloon bursting, partner race, spoon and marble race, and “Get Ready for School” race for juniors. The students exhibited exceptional enthusiasm and energy throughout the day.
The program was graced by retired headmaster of Government High School Jadugoda, W. Rehman; Athletics District Coach, Krishna Sika; State Coordinator Para Yogasana and National-Level Cricketer, Shubham Kumar; Human Welfare Trust Secretary, Mukhtar Alam; social worker, Ajmal Balkhi; and school leaders such as Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, and Hindi Medium Principal Sunita Tripathi.
Rose House emerged as the overall winner, with Daffodil House securing the runner-up position. Akanksha Kumari of Class XI was named Best Athlete for her outstanding performance.
Earlier, teacher Shikha Singh delivered the welcome address and, along with students Zara Khan and Sarah Ali, anchored the event. The vote of thanks was extended by teacher Aayushi Nidhi, marking a successful conclusion to the event.
