Jamshedpur, Mar 29: The Jamshedpur branch of the All India Women’s Conference (AIWC) organized a Zonal Conference at United Club, bringing together representatives from Bihar and Jharkhand. Delegates from Bihar’s Ramani Samiti (Vaishali), Tilhothu Mandal and Seva Mithila (Madhubani), along with members from Jharkhand’s Ashok Nagar, Jawa, Bariatu and Bulahat branches, attended the event.
Renowned mountaineer and Padma Shri awardee Premalata Agarwal graced the occasion as the chief guest. AIWC President Kalyani Raj and Treasurer Upasana Singh were the distinguished guests, while Jamshedpur branch President Parul Mangal hosted the event.
A highlight of the conference was the launch of ‘Utsaah,’ an e-magazine dedicated to women’s social and economic empowerment. Speaking on the occasion, Premalata Agarwal emphasized the importance of self-reliance among women, stating, “Empowered women uplift society.”
