Jamshedpur: A delegation from the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) met Governor Santosh Gangwar today during his visit to the city. The group extended a warm welcome to the Governor by presenting him with a shawl and a memento. Members also briefed him on the ongoing initiatives and activities of the Trade Union Congress, highlighting in particular the priority being given to women’s participation and leadership within the organization.
During the meeting, State President Pawan Agrahari submitted a memorandum to the Governor, drawing attention to the challenges faced by shopkeepers. He urged the Governor to take prompt steps to resolve their issues.
Vice President Chanchal Bhatia further appealed to the government to accelerate welfare services aimed at children and women, stressing the need for more efficient implementation.
The delegation comprised State President Pawan Agrahari, Vice President Chanchal Bhatia, Women’s Front President Sunita Jaiswal, Vice President Ekta Jaiswal, along with members Sagar Jha, Yash Saw, Gautam Akhuli, and others.
The meeting concluded with the delegation expressing hope for swift government action on the concerns raised.
