AISM submits demands to Kolhan DIG against atrocities on journalists

Jamshedpur: A delegation of AISM Journalists� Welfare Association handed a letter of demand to the Kolhan DIG mentioning four different incidents of atrocities against journalists. The demands included the removal Musabani PS ASI Bachchan Rai and Gamharia Police OC Krishna Murari Jha for their hostile behaviour towards journalists and investigation of counter cases filed against them. In view of the atrocities against journalist the Association repeated their demand for formation of police-journalist coordination committee.

The AISM Journalists� Welfare Association comprised Bihar-Jharkhand in-charge Pritam Singh Bhatia, state advisor Nagendra Sharma, Kolhan in-charge Amit Mishra, Kolhan president Shankar Gupta, vice president Govind Pathak, general secretary Ras Bihari, spokesperson Madhuresh Bajpayee, Sushil Kumar, Abhijit Sen, East Singhbhum district rural area president Rahul Kumar, general secretary Kamlesh Singh, vice president Raja Pathak, Saraikela district president Ravi Kant Gope, victim of atrocity Mosabani journalist Sujit Sarkar and other journalists.
