Jamshedpur, Nov 23: NIT Jamshedpur installed and inaugurated the TTLE KIRAN Airframe at the Lecture Hall Complex (LHC) on Sunday, marking a major step toward strengthening experimental learning in aerospace and engineering sciences. The airframe was unveiled at 12:30 PM by Director Prof. Goutam Sutradhar, who praised the teamwork behind the initiative and extended “special credit to Ex-Registrar Cornell (Dr) Neeshith Kumar Ray for his valuable support in facilitating this installation.” The ceremony was attended by Deputy Director Prof. R. V. Sharma, Chief Warden Dr. Lalji Prasad, Chief Security Officer Prof. S. B. Prasad, Dean (R&C) Prof. Satish Kumar and various faculty members and students.
The dignitaries emphasised that the airframe would significantly enhance hands-on learning in aerodynamics, aircraft structures and systems engineering while enabling interdisciplinary research. The event was coordinated under the leadership of Prof. Umesh Kumar Sinha, Dean (P&D). The information was shared by Dr. Ratnesh Kumar Mishra, Institute Media in-charge.
