After this, his family received a massive jolt but Dhiraj did not lose courage and kept on working hard that resulted in his Air Force job.
Dhiraj Kumar Chaudhary stated that he had studied up to 12th at Ram Krishna Mission School in Sidgora. He did his graduation from Cooperative College. During this period he spent time in preparation for competitive exams but his financial condition was a big obstacle. He did not even have money to fill the form. In view of this, he started taking tuitions so that he could get the money for filling the form and the cost of commuting.
At one point of time he felt that he should leave studies and start working but thought otherwise and made the best use of time. He said, “Once time flies, it never comes back. So I became determined to compete, struggled but ultimately succeeded.” Dhiraj has four siblings including two brothers and two sisters.
Dhiraj observed, “When you set a target and move forward with total intent of achieving it, then many problems will come and you have to move forward fighting them. If you step back, you lose, and if you move forward, you win. The same happened with me. Many times I felt that now I should leave studies and start working. Many people also gave me the same advice. This had a negative impact on my morale but my goal was fixed. I have never compromised on my goal. The only advice I would give to other people is to work hard according to your goals. Success will surely be yours.”
