Jamshedpur, April 6: The Clinical Society, the academic wing of Tata Main Hospital (TMH) organized 63rd Annual Conference from April 2 to April 4 in Jamshedpur, bringing together leading medical experts and professionals.
The conference marked the culmination of a year-long series of academic activities. The inaugural session was attended by D B Sundara Ramam, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, as the Chief Guest, along with senior leadership from the company.
This year’s theme, “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare – Jumping the Curve,” focused on the growing role of AI in transforming healthcare systems and clinical practices. The scientific programme featured interactive workshops conducted by experts such as Supten Sarbadhikari and Suvrankar Dutta, who shared insights on integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare, especially in radiology.
The conference also included guest lectures and a keynote address on the future of medical superintelligence in India. Additionally, the Department of Cardiology organized a workshop on complex coronary interventions, led by experts Arun Kalyanasundaram and Kunal Sarkar.
More than 100 research contributions, including papers, posters, and case studies, were presented during the event. New segments such as occupational health research and the “Medical Shark Tank” added innovative elements, while panel discussions and a medical quiz enhanced academic engagement.
The conference provided a strong platform for knowledge sharing and highlighted the future potential of technology-driven healthcare solutions.
The conference concluded with a vibrant cultural programme performed by TMH doctors, celebrating camaraderie and reinforcing the spirit of collaboration within the medical fraternity.
