Jamshedpur, May 29: East Singhbhum DC Suraj Kumar and deputy development commissioner Parmeshwar Bhagat flagged off krishi jagruta rath (agriculture awareness van) from the district collectorate on Saturday.
The deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar informed that the awareness van would inform farmers about projects carried out by agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperative department also give information about seeds procurement and distribution programs.
The vans would be visiting all the blocks iand panchayats n the district. This apart farmers are being made aware through SMS.
