Jamshedpur: Agrahari Samaj, Jharkhand, celebrated Agrasen Jayanti in a hotel at Dimna Chowk, Mango on Thursday. The guests of the occasion included the state general secretary of International Vaisya Federation Srikant Dev and the state president of Agrahari Samaj youth wing Pawan Agrahari. They lit a ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the programme.
In his address, Srikant Dev said Agrasen Maharaj was a great humanitarian who had spread the message of �one brick, one rupaiya� in the society.
Other dignitaries present during the programme included Maya Shankar Agrahari, Aarati Agrahari, Rajkumari, Leelawati Devi, Amit Agrahari, Amrit Agrahari and Ram Shankar Agrahari.
