Jamshedpur, March 8: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Celebrated Women�s day with a difference. The Club always give importance to Education and on Women�s Day, they introduced two adult literacy classes for women at Birsa Basti, near Adarsh Seva sansthan and Deeksha Centre, Sonari, Kutadih. Past President Rtn K L Chachra inaugurated Birsa Basti class and Assistant Governor Rtn. Ranjit Ram inaugurated Deeksha Centre.
President Amitava Bakshi spoke on the occasion on the importance of basic education in life. Rtn Chachra and Rtn. Ranjit Ram stresses on the fact that without education ladies will always remain oppressed in society and for living a better life, one must be able to read newspapers and basic important documents so that they are not cheated by others,AG Ranjit Ram, Mamta Ram, President Amitava Bakshi, Secretary Achinto Banerjee, Alakananda Bakshi, Rakhi Banerjee, KL Chachra,Pratim Banerjee, Neelam Wadera and other members were present to make the event successful.
