Train Disruptions, Cancellations in Adra Division From Feb 23

Jamshedpur: South Eastern Railway will regulate several train services in the Adra Division from February 23 to March 1 to facilitate ongoing developmental work. These changes include total cancellations, short-terminations, and route diversions affecting several key MEMU and Express services.

Cancelled Train Services

The railway department has cancelled the following MEMU services on these specific dates:

  • Asansol–Adra–Asansol (68046/68045): Feb 24 and Feb 25.

  • Adra–Bhaga–Adra (68077/68078): Feb 26 and March 1.

  • Adra–Midnapore–Adra (68090/68089): Feb 23, 24, 26, 27, and March 1.

  • Asansol–Purulia–Asansol (63594/63593): Feb 24 and Feb 25.

  • Adra–Barabhum–Adra (68053/68054): Feb 23.

Short-Terminated and Short-Originated Trains

Several express and MEMU trains will end their journeys early or start from intermediate stations:

  • Jhargram–Dhanbad–Jhargram Express (18019/18020): Will run only between Jhargram and Bokaro Steel City on Feb 23 and Feb 24.

  • Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman MEMU (13503/13504): Will run only between Barddhaman and NSCB Gomoh on Feb 23 and Feb 24.

  • Tatanagar–Asansol–Barabhum MEMU (68056/68060): Will operate only up to Adra on Feb 26, 28, and March 1.

  • Asansol–Purulia–Asansol MEMU (63594/63593): Will short-terminate at Adra on Feb 23.

Route Diversion

The Tatanagar–Hatia Express (18601) will follow a diverted route on February 24, 25, and 28. Instead of its regular path, the train will run via Chandil–Gunda Bihar–Muri.

Passenger Advisory

Railway authorities advise passengers to check the latest train status via the NTES app or official websites before heading to the station. Planning ahead will help travelers avoid significant inconvenience during this maintenance period.
