Noamundi, March 20: Rajiv Gandhi�Scheme for Empowerment of�Adolescent Girls campaign was organised at Kishan Bhavan under Noamundi Block on Friday.
Noamundi Child Development Project officer (CDPO) Laxmi Bharati gave training to the girls to enable self-development, empowerment, improving health & nutrition status, bring awareness about health, hygiene, precautions to be taken during menstruation, appropriate age of marriage and Aids.
A large number of adolescent girls and Anganbadi workers were present on the occasion.
