Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leaders raised slogans at the precincts of the deputy commissioner�s office on Friday during the arrival and departure of party candidate Dr Ajay Kumar.
They raised slogans despite being asked not to do so by Dr Ajay Kumar and Abhay Singh, central committee secretary and election in-charge of JVM. Dr Ajay Kumar remained at the DC office from 1 pm till 2.30 pm. District administration had locked the main gate of the DC office building soon after the entry of Dr Ajay Kumar.
Many party activists were reportedly found moving around the premises of the DC office. A large number of party workers, supporters and onlookers were present outside the DC office to witness the process of filing of nomination by the sitting MP of Jamshedpur who is filing his nomination for the second time in a row.
The sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum Prem Ranjan was present at the DC office to keep an eye on the law and order situation along with the DSP (crime control room) Jacintha Kerketta and other police jawans.
