Seraikela, Dec 21: Seraikela-Kharswan district administration and transport unit will launch a special crack down on parking rules violators, those who carry out overloading in their vehicles and over speed on roads.
Seraikela-Kharswan district transport officer, Dinesh Kumar Ranjan said that not only will the culprits have to pay fines but also have their permits cancelled and driving licence cancelled if they do not repeat their offences.
The transport official also warned drunken drivers that if they are found to be drunken during tests carried out by alcohol meter then their driving licence would be cancelled.
Significantly, such traffic violations are the main reasons for road mishaps and despite strict directives the vehicle owners and drivers are not mending their ways forcing administration to plan a crackdown.
