Hold meeting to allay their fears and address their concerns

Jamshedpur, Feb 19: Additional District Magistrate (ADM) law and order of East Singhbhum Nand Kishore Lal and Superintendent of Police (City) Subhash Chandra Jaat Saturday convened a joint meeting with the city traders and representatives of various trade bodies.

Assuring the traders of round the clock security, the SP said, “The city police is with the traders. The traders should not panic. Instead they should exercise caution while handling cash or making transactions. Those going to deposit huge cash in bank should keep changing their schedule and mode of transport. If needed, the traders can seek police help. Patrolling teams are pressed into service for such situations.”

The SP said the jewelers should be cautious and conscious during their work.
Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) president Vijay Anand Moonka, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) national secretary Suresh Sonthalia and many other traders were present during the meeting. They demanded deployment of police guards at Bistupur Diagonal Road as it was two years ago. They further demanded removal of roadside vendors doing their business before jewelry shops and installation of CCTV cameras across the city and strong measures against criminals.

Among others present during today’s meeting included DSP CCR DSP Animesh Kumar Gupta, Vipin Bhai Adesara, Kamal Singhania, Aseem Adesara, Mahesh Sonthalia, Bharat Vasani, Bharat Vasani, Mannu Adesara, Sushil Singhania, Bobby Singh and Sandeep Burman.
