126 students from 17 ICSE schools participate
Jamshedpur, May 2: ADLS Sunshine School hosted the CISCE Zonal Karate Championship 2025 on Friday, bringing together 126 students from 17 ICSE schools across Jamshedpur. The event showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship in the U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories for both boys and girls.
L. Nageshwar Rao, Honorary Secretary of the Jharkhand Goju Ryu Karate Do Association, graced the occasion as the Guest of the Day. The event was also attended by Y. Eshwar Rao, President of ADL Society, M. Kamal Kumar, Honorary Acting General Secretary of ADL Society and Honorary Secretary of ADLS Sunshine School, along with other esteemed members of the management and Principal Manju Singh.
Sixteen officials from the East Singhbhum Karate Association and sports teachers from participating schools were present to support and witness the event.
In the Boys U-14 category, Yuvraj (NHES), Dhruv Kumar Mahato, and Sameer Murmu (KPS Gamharia) emerged as winners. In the Girls U-14 category, medal winners included Naina Roy (MNPS), Divyanka Tudu (DBMS), and Adya Singh.
