Jamshedpur, May 2: May Day was celebrated at ADLS Sunshine School with full enthusiasm. The celebration picked off with the welcome address by the Shipra Singh, High School and Hindi teacher. Prayer services by Sunita Singh marked the beginning of the programme. The Support staffs of the school were given gifts and sweets by the management members and the Principal Indrani Singh. Students put up several programmes to honour the school staff.
The Sunshine choir sung a medley on hard work. The students showcased their dancing skills on Mitwa. A speech by school senate president was well applauded. The Principal Indrani Singh, appreciated the endless efforts of the work force of the school. Malti, a female support staff was adjudged the best staff and was given a trophy. The ceremony also included Nukad Natak. The programme came to a close with the recital of the National Anthem.
