ADL Society election on Sunday

Jasmshedpur: Organization election of ADL Society Sakchi will be held on Sunday on school premises from 8 am to 4 pm.

Hectic activities have already begun for the oncoming election while two rival groups are contesting for the post of president.

Leader of one faction Y Ishwar Rao is contesting for the post of president of the society. Rao and other members of the group are confident about winning the election.

Addressing a press met Y Ishwar Rao said there are 1888 voters who would cast votes for the post of president and office-bearers of the organization.

About 600 voters are living outside of the city while quite a few have already passed away. Rao expressed apprehensions of bogus voting as a large number of voters would not be physically president to cast their votes.

Answering a question Rao said even if in the event of 50 percent vote all members of his team would be able to win their seats.

Rao said that members of his group had been conducting campaign through mobile phones and personal contacts.

NVR Murty, V Ravi Shankar, K Gurunath Rao, and NVL Prasad Rao of the team elaborated their future activities for the society after coming out as winners in the election.
