Jamshedpur, Nov. 1: Adivasis of Mangoda village near Narwapahar celebrated Vandana festival with fervor on Tuesday.
On the occasion, bull was worshipped by the villagers and later they made the bull dance. At the event villagers in large numbers gathered at the venue.
On the other hand, Mangoda Yuva Samiti organised a cultural programme on the occasion of Vandana festivity. Chief guest for the programme was Zila Parishad deputy chairperson, Rajkumar Singh.
Addressing the gathering, Singh said, harvesting of paddy at the farms has been completed and the farmers homes are filled with grains.
The good production has made the villagers happy and the whole village is filled with excitement and celebrating Vandana festivity with grandeur.
He further said, Adivasis protect the water, forest and land and they are also on top spot when it comes to cleanliness and people from other society and community should learn from them.
