Jamshedpur: Adivasi drama contest was organized in Kulgora village of Narda panchayat in Potka on Tuesday. A total of 22 teams participated in the event. Seven teams were awarded for their performance by the organizing committee. The chief guest of the programme was Zila Parishad member Sanjeev Sardar while the special guest was the local Mukhiya Chanka Sardar.
In his address, the chief guest said such events help save the tribal tradition and culture. He said saving the villages would save the identity of the people. He said the state government was not serious about the development of villages.
Among those present on the occasion included Daso Tudu, Ramo Mardi, Mangal Tudu, Lita Mardi, Rajmal Tudu, Bhim Hansda, Bulu Mahato, Fagu Tudu, Sagun Tudu and Shuru Tudu.
