Jamshedpur: Adityapur residents put up a demonstration before Adityapur police station on Friday to demand police action against rising cases of theft in the area.
They alleged that police inaction had led to a spurt in thefts in the area in the last several days.
They said police patrolling should be intensified and special teams should be set up to crack down on the racket of thieves that had wreaked havoc in Adityapur for the last several days.
Police officials assured to take action to prevent thefts in the area.
