Jamshedpur, July 12 : In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Saraikela-Kharsawan Police arrested Shahbaz Khan, the son of notorious woman drug trafficker Dolly Parveen, during a raid in the Muslim Basti area of Adityapur on Sunday.
Acting on specific intelligence, a police team conducted a swift operation and successfully apprehended Shahbaz Khan, who is alleged to be involved in the illegal drug trade.
The raid forms part of the district police’s intensified campaign against narcotics networks operating in the region.
Police officials said further investigation is underway to identify Shahbaz Khan’s associates, trace the supply chain, and determine the extent of his involvement in the drug trafficking network.
More arrests and seizures are expected as the probe progresses.
The operation is being viewed as a significant breakthrough in the ongoing drive to dismantle organized drug syndicates in Saraikela-Kharsawan district.
