Jamshedpur: Adityapur Municipal Corporation has chalked out a new strategy to ensure cleanliness in Adityapur. The special officer of AMC Wednesday said all preparations in this regard were complete. As per plan, the entire AMC jurisdiction would be divided into seven zones for better implementation of cleanliness plans. New contractors will start working in Adityapur from the first day of April, he said.
Sources said the initiative is being taken by the AMC authorities after dismal performance of Adityapur in the All India Swachhata Survey 2019. This year, Adityapur�s ranking has slipped from last year�s slot. Waste disposal situation is deplorable, sources said.
