Adityapur Municipal Corporation dedicates �Atal Park� to Adityapur residents

Jamshedpur: Residents of Adityapur were gifted a park-cum-banquet hall on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti by Adityapur municipal corporation (AMC).

AMC mayor, Vinod Srivastava inaugurated the park-cum-banquet hall named as “Atal Park” at a function this evening. Located near densely-populated S-Type area along Tata-Kandra Road, the Atal Park is well equipped with an open gym for the visitors as well as children’s corner.

” It is really a major achievement for us, now the people of Adityapur will not have to go over to Jubilee Park in Bistupur for spending time. People may consider it to be a Puja gift for the residents of Adityapur and adjoining areas,” said Srivastava. The mayor said Atal Park will an entry fee for the visitors.

“As per our decision we have kept charge Rs 5 as entry fee for each of the visitors. One can take advantage of the open gym during the visit to the park,” said the mayor. He said the park will be open from for the public from tomorrow onward.

Spread over two acres of land, the park is equipped with fountains, flower and joggers track. The AMC has spent over Rs 4 crores for setting up the Atal Park which is the only such facilty in Adityapur.

The double-storeyed banquet hall which has a capacity to accommodate 200 persons . People can organise their functions and other cultural programme at the banquet hall
