Jamshedpur, Mar 19: The Adityapur Municipal Corporation has started issuing allotment letters to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). This marks the beginning of the final phase of providing homes to eligible families in Mirudih. According to officials, 120 houses have been completed and will be handed over to allottees in early April.
Under the scheme, a total of 720 houses are planned in Mirudih. The government has allocated Rs 6.42 lakh per beneficiary, with Rs 3.92 lakh as a loan amount and Rs 2.5 lakh as a government subsidy. City Manager Kuldeep Kumar stated, “Those who were unable to avail benefits earlier can still apply to be considered in the next phase.”
To ensure smooth living conditions, the authorities have already set up power and water facilities, including deep boring and transformer installations. The construction work is progressing rapidly to provide affordable housing for common citizens.
