Jamshedpur, Feb 2: Adityapur resident and builder Santosh Rai has denied rumours of his absconding and termed such baseless rumours as a ploy to tarnish his image unleashed by his business rivals.
He said that he is residing in his Adityapur house along with his parents and family. He said that the rumours was spread after signing an agreement over a plot of land near Gamharia railway station and as the land belonged to someone else he had proposed to return the money to the 14 buyers and when they did not take back their own money he had to take help of lawyer to take back the amount. He also said that all senior administrative officials including deputy commissioner, SP have been informed about the happenings.
