Chaibasa, October 26: District BJP President Sanjay Pandey welcomed the party’s State General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu at the Bharatiya Janata Party District Office for a meeting of the Chaibasa Vidhan Sabha Election Management Committee.

Addressing party workers, Sahu stated that there was a wave of change sweeping across Jharkhand, with the public growing disillusioned with Hemant Soren’s government after five years marked by corruption. He emphasized that the enthusiastic turnout at the nomination of BJP candidates reflected the commitment to ensure their victory, calling for strong electoral management and preparation.

Sahu outlined the Bharatiya Janata Party’s “Panchpran” initiative, which included sending ₹2,100 monthly to all women under the ‘Gogo Didi Yojna,’ providing pucca houses for 21 lakh residents, free sand and water connections, a monthly incentive of ₹2,000 for graduate and postgraduate youths, subsidized gas cylinders, recruitment for 287,000 government posts, and the promise of self-employment for 500,000 youth annually.

He urged party workers to unite and support their candidate, Geeta Balmuchu, to secure victory in the Chaibasa Legislative Assembly. Sahu praised Balmuchu for her dedication to the party and her strong connection with rural communities, asserting that her victory was assured.

Candidate Geeta Balmuchu addressed the meeting, expressing enthusiasm for the election campaign and emphasized the importance of informing the public about the Panchpran initiative. She criticized the incumbent MLA for neglecting the constituency’s basic needs and assured workers that the electorate was determined to defeat him.

State spokesperson JB Tubid also spoke about the election action plan, with contributions from former MLA Jawahar Lal Banra, Satish Puri, former Nagar Parishad Chairperson Neela Nag, District Council Member Rajshree Banra, and other senior party members present at the meeting.
