Jamshedpur, Aug 28: Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, a power generation company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jharkhand government to set up an industrial park in Jharkhand. The company will invest Rs 1900 crore.
MoU was signed during the launch ceremony of Jharkhand Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy 2021 in the Investors Meet organised by the Industries Department at New Delhi on Saturday.
On behalf of Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, Sachin Kumar Agarwal while from Industries Secretary Pooja Singhal signed the MoU on behalf of Jharkhand Government. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Mahesh Agarwal, director, Adhunik Power were also present on the occasion.
Adhunik Power director, Mahesh Agarwal said that Adhunik Power is very much keen to be part of development in Jharkhand. He added Adhunik Power would always be a participant in the development of Jharkhand in future also. Company’s General Manager (Liaison) Arun Kumar also participated in the invertor’s meet. On this occasion, Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary L. Khingyate, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Residential Commissioner Mastram Meena, Secretary Avinash Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Director Industries Jitendra Kumar Singh and industrialists and their representatives were present.
