Adhunik Power inaugurates Project Amrit Dhara

Jamshedpur: As part of its corporate social responsibility towards public health and providing safe drinking water to the rural community Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, Padampur.

In partnership with Panchayat Samiti , Gamharia Block and Nav Nirman Sanstha, Jamshedpur inaugurated the Project Amrit Dhara at Gamharia Block Office aiming to provide 1000 families of Gamharia Block Pure & Safe Drinking water.

Indrajeet Mahatha , S.P., Saraikela-Kharsawan was the chief guest and DDC Sangram Besra was the guest of honor on this occasion.

The cost of the project is 20 lakhs approx. The capacity of the water processing and Reverse osmosis (RO) plant is 1000 ltr of water per hour. the water will be available in 5, 10 and 20 liters jar.

It will available on only fifty paise per liter which is almost free of cost as same quality of packaged water is available in market at a cost of Rs. 12 to 15 rupees per liter.

In a backward district like Saraikela-kharsawan where water born disease are affecting a large number of people this is a big step to prevent those diseases.
