Adhunik Power gets coveted award

Jamshedpur: Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited has been conferred with the most coveted 4th Annual�Greentech CSR Award 2014.

Adhunik Power has been bestowed with the award for its contributions towards providing safe drinking water to the community.

It may be mentioned here that Adhunik Power had taken up the initiative towards this direction through its water project�’Amritdhara��under its corporate social responsibility initiatives. The project has significantly brought changes in the locality in a maintaining healthy life.

The project is situated at Gamharia block campus under Public-Private partnership (Adhunik Power, Nav Nirman Sanstha and Gamhariya Panchyat). More than 2000 families have been benefitted from the project.

On behalf of Adhunik Power Arjesh Mishra, VP-HR/IR & Admn and Rajesh Ranjan, Group Head, CSR received the award trophy and certificates from Bhasker Chattarjee, retired IAS and K Sharan, president, Greentech Foundation, New Delhi.

Greentech CSR Award is the recognition of participatory efforts of Gamhariya Panchayat Samiti, APNRL and NNS for PPP project Amritdhara. Thousands of people get safe drinking water from this project. This project has improved the health status of community.
