Jamshedpur, Aug 16: The employees and officials of Adhunik Group companies comprising Adhunik Alloys & Power Limited (AAPL), Kandra, Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited (APNRL), Padampur and Orissa Manganese & Minerals Limited (OMML) celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervor.
Bhalchandra Nellikwar, plant head, APNRL and OP Verma, plant head, AAPL & OMML hoisted the national flag in the presence of a large number of company employees, officials and guests.
Security personnel performed a beautiful parade on the occasion followed by a guard of honour. Enthusiastic villagers also participated in the Independence Day celebration at Padampur.
Addressing the employees on the occasion, Nellikwar said, �We did not get this freedom overnight as the nation has paid a big price in the form of sacrifices made by our freedom fighters, Now the time has come that we should pay back and take India on the path of prosperity and development.�
Nellikwar further said, �Making India a developed nation should be our sole goal and we should realize this. So every individual should give their best and put in their keen efforts to build India a better nation.�
At the Adhunik Alloys and Power Limited, Kandra, Verma said, �However so many challenges are there but we should take a pledge on this auspicious day to keep working hard and putting in sincere efforts towards growth of the company and the country.�
Verma urged to the employees to contribute their level best to take the company on top of its business.
The employees too showed vigour and passion during Independence Day celebration. Sweets were also distributed amongst the employees.
