Jamshedpur: In response to the increasing waiting lists at various stations, including Tatanagar in the South Eastern Railway, measures have been taken to address the issue. Additional bogies have been added to eight trains to accommodate the surge in demand. The move aims to alleviate the waiting list situation and enhance passenger capacity.
The trains that have received additional bogies are as follows:
Howrah Bengaluru SMVP Train
Hatia Islampur Train
Tata Ara Train
Rourkela Gunupur Train
Rourkela Jagdalpur Train
Howrah Puri Train
Ranchi Anand Vihar Terminal Train
Howrah CSMT Mumbai Train
The added bogies are expected to provide relief to passengers by increasing the overall capacity of these trains. The additional arrangements are in effect from December 17th to December 19th, aiming to accommodate the increased passenger demand during this period.
