Barkagaon (Hazaribagh): The Adani Foundation, under the Gondalpura Mining Project, has launched the first batch of Army Restoration Training for the youth of the Barkagaon block. The inauguration ceremony took place at the mining project’s office premises, with Barkagaon Circle Inspector Anil Kumar as the chief guest commending the commendable efforts of the Adani Foundation. He emphasized the substantial benefits the youth would gain from this training initiative.
Inspector Anil Kumar expressed his appreciation, stating that it is a fortunate step for the youth in the area. Vinod Tirkey, the in-charge of Barkagaon police station, also present at the program, praised the initiative as a significant effort. He highlighted that after receiving training, the youth could contribute to the Indian Army, Agniveer, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, and police services, making it easier for them to secure positions in Para Military Force and State Police.
The training program, spanning six months, will provide both academic and physical training to the selected youth. A screening test was conducted at Barkagaon High School grounds, with 160 participants from various areas, including Harli, Gali, Balodar, Sukul Khapiya, Sadh, Shivadih, Dhenga, and Mahugai Kala. Ultimately, 30 participants were selected for the training. As part of the initiative, all participating youth were provided with a free training kit, including a track suit, jersey, and sports shoes.
Deputy General Manager Sanjay Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Security) Pundarik Mishra, retired DSP Surya Kumar Singh, and CSR Deputy Manager Mohit Gupta, among others, were present during the inauguration. Animesh Nachiketa, the PRO of Adani Foundation, shared this information.
