Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Growth of the novel�coronavirus cases is slowing down�in Jamshedpur.
52 corona positive cases were reported in Jamshedpur on Monday, October 19 taking the total tally to 15319. Positive tally has climbed to 15319 while the death toll has climbed to 343 with 1 death reported on Monday. 60 people recovered of the virus taking the total recovery to 13794 while total active cases in Jamshedpur have dropped below 1,200-mark to 1182.
The district administration spokesperson informed that 52 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Monday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 93742 test per million in the district. The mortality rate in East Singhbhum district is 2.2 % while recovery rate has climbed to 90%.
In Jharkhand 3 people died of the virus while 490 were reported positive on Monday. Ranchi reported maximum 152 positive cases.
One person each succumbed to the virus in Bokaro, Deoghar and East Singhbhum.
The death toll has reached 836 while positive tally is around 97, 000 mark of which 89011 people have recovered including 769 on Monday. 338 people recovered of virus in Ranchi. The active cases in the state are around 6000. Jharkhand recovery rate is 92.38 while the mortality rate is 0.87 %.
