Deepak convicted in the murder of two daughters, wife and tuition teacher, court will pronounce sentence on April 6
Jamshedpur, April 1. The Jamshedpur Court convicted the accused Deepak Kumar in the murder of Bina Kumari, Diya Kumari, Sandhi Kumari and Rinki Ghosh, residents of Quarter No. 97/99, Teesta Road under Kadma police station.
While hearing the case on Saturday, the court of ADJ -4 Rajendra Kumar Sinha found Deepak guilty under sections 302, 307, 379, 201 and 376(1) of the IPC. The court will hear the point of sentence on April 6.
The case was argued by advocates Jolly Das, Kartik Dey, Harvilas Das, Dilip Gorai and Jayant Kumar on behalf of the prosecution. A total of 25 people testified in the case. Additional Public Prosecutor Rajeev Kumar appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
Here, after the court found Deepak guilty, there was enthusiasm among the family members of Bina and Rinki Ghosh. Bina’s brother Anand Kumar Sahu said that the truth has won. After two years of fighting, he was found guilty.
They said that Deepak has shown cruelty, so the court should sentence him to death. He told that Deepak was also produced in the court through video conference. There was no fear on his face when the judge found him guilty.
Significantly on April 12, 2021, Deepak killed his wife, two daughters, their tuition teacher in quarter number 97,99 located on Teesta Road under Kadma police station.
After killing the tuition teacher, he also raped her. After executing the incident, he also attacked his partner Prabhu’s brother-in-law Ankit. After the incident, he went to Rourkela in his bullet from where he booked a cab and went to Dhanbad.
After reaching Dhanbad, after staying there for one night, on the morning of April 16, he reached Hirapur in Dhanbad-based HDFC Bank to deposit money in his brother’s account, but here he had a fight with the manager.
After which he was caught by the police. He had told the police that if he was not caught, he would have committed suicide in a few days after depositing the money.
Deepak was married to Beena in the year 2004. He had planned a week before the incident that he would call Roshan for dinner and kill him and then take the teacher’s scooty and kill him while drinking alcohol with Prabhu late in the evening. Before that he will kill the family. The first wife was murdered at around 8 am on 12th April. After that, the elder daughter who was sleeping on the bed was killed and then the younger daughter and took the jewellery. After committing the murder, he took a bath and then went to his in-laws house and sold the jewelry from there.
Meanwhile, the teacher came home and asked the teacher for her scooty at knife point, but the teacher refused. The teacher ran to the room where the wife’s body was lying. She saw the dead body. That’s why the teacher was also killed. After killing the teacher, he raped her. After raping, the dead body was put inside the bed.
