Jamshedpur: A joint team of Ranchi police and Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the residence of mining officer Niranjan Prasad, currently in jail, in Tuiladungri under Golmuri PS on Thursday.
The officials raided the three-storied building worth several crores belonging to Prasad. They searched the entire house and confiscated 10 vehicles including cars and many household articles. ACB DSP Jitendra Dubey prepared the seizure list.
Prasad was arrested red-handed with Rs 51 lakh by a CBI team on 3rd May last near Namkum, Ranchi. He was earlier posted as the district mining officer of Lohardagga.
